LifeAssays® AB was founded in 2000 by the CEO, inventor and visionary professor Dario Kriz. Professor Kriz spent his early years at Lund University working on the development of small, nano-size magnetic particles and their subsequent application in biotechnological and medical research. After years of pioneering research, a unique patented point-of-care technology emerged comprising small magnetic nano-bullets and a detector system for the identification of blood components and markers. This strong point-of-care platform is the foundation of the diagnostic company LifeAssays® seen today.

A Company With Momentum
Today LifeAssays® is a growing diagnostic company with in-house development and manufacturing capabilities. The company is a public shareholding company listed on the Nordic Growth Market stock exchange in Stockholm, Sweden. The LifeAssays® Reader and single-use reagent tests are developed and manufactured in-house at the Lund facilities. Product sales will begin in 2008 with the launch of high sensitive and normal range CRP test kits for point-of-care. Products will initially be available for sale within the European Union and will be sold either directly or via a third party distributor. LifeAssays® is proud to announce its cooperation with Savas Medical for distribution within the Turkish market. To enhance market penetration after initial product launch, LifeAssays® is looking for strategic partners and/or distributors to help with the distribution and sales of LifeAssays® products.
